F.A.S.T TEST: This comprehensive Food Allergy, Sensitivity & Toxicity test measures four distinct immune responses—IgE, IgG, IgG4, and complement (C3b/d)—to 88 common food antigens. Discover which foods may be triggering your IBS symptoms, headaches, bloating, tiredness, and more. To receive your sample collection kit after making your purchase, please use the F.A.S.T. tab at the top of the page to provide the necessary information. We will send you a test kit that includes a self-addressed label. A simple finger-prick blood sample is all that is required. Your test results will be ready within 7 to 14 days from the time you submit your sample, and the results will be mailed directly to you. If you opted for a Dietary & Nutritional Consultation to discuss your test results and receive recommendations based on those results, a representative will contact you to schedule your consultation as soon as your test results are available.
A FOOD ALLERGY, SENSITIVITY & TOXICITY (F.A.S.T) Consult will provide an overview of the results of your food intolerance test with interpretation and diet plan creation, followed by dietary counseling for food preparation and substitution counseling.
MICRONUTRIENT TEST (MNT): A comprehensive Functional Micronutrient Analysis measures functional deficiencies on a Cellular Level, assessing how the body utilizes 31 vitamins, minerals, amino/fatty acids, as well as antioxidants, and metabolites. (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B12, C, D3, E, K2, folate, CoQ10, selenium, calcium, chromium, copper, zinc, magnesium, manganese, glutathione, alpha-lipoic acid, oleic acid, carnitine, inositol, choline, serine, glutamine, asparagine, and cysteine.) It identifies the micronutrients needed to enable the production of enzymes and hormones for good health.
Before the introduction of micronutrient testing( as provided by SpectraCell Labs), all diagnoses and risk assessments relied on clinical observations and measurements of Static Nutrient Levels in blood serum. However, static serum levels DO NOT accurately represent cell metabolism and nutrient utilization.
A complete blood sample is required for this test. After making your purchase, use the (MNT) tab at the top of the page to provide the necessary information, which will enable us to mail your blood sample kit to you. You can take the kit to a local clinic to have your blood drawn, or arrange for a local phlebotomy unit to draw your blood in the comfort of your own home. IMPORTANT: Please ensure the practitioner drawing your blood follows the instructions provided in the collection kit. When done, drop the kit in the mail. It can take up to 16 days to receive your test results. Your results will be emailed to you as soon as they are available. If you opted for a Dietary & Nutritional Consultation to discuss your test results and receive recommendations based on those results, a representative will contact you to schedule your consultation as soon as your test results are available. IMPORTANT: Your blood sample must be received within 48 hours!
A MICRONUTRIENT TEST (M.N.T) Consult will provide a review of the results of your functional nutrition test with recommendations for targeted nutraceutical replenishment, followed by nutrition counseling for general dietary guidance and nutritional maintenance.
Our COMPREHENSIVE PHYSICIAN CONSULTATION is different from a Dietary and Nutritional consultation. A Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist can examine test results and provide preliminary guidance if they indicate a potential vitamin deficiency. They can also alert you to specific foods that may not agree with your body and offer general advice. This consultation is a good starting point for individuals in relatively good health who want to optimize their overall well-being. However, if you struggle with conditions such as diabetes, chronic bloating, IBS, or other health issues, it is beneficial to work with a professional who has extensive medical and nutritional training, particularly regarding the digestive system. This expertise can lead to more effective identification of factors contributing to these conditions and appropriate treatment, especially if test results do not reveal clear causes. Dr. Danner is a published, double-board-certified bariatric surgeon, professor, and nutritional specialist. His dedication to helping people led him to develop the Danbar for Life Healthy Lifestyle Program after years of study. He can answer any questions you may have about course segments, provide a detailed review of your test results, and outline a planned course of action, including any necessary supplementation.
A GUT MICROBIOME Health Test by Thorne uses next-generation metagenomic sequencing that identifies and measures the DNA of every microorganism present in the stool sample. It measures what types of material pass through your intestinal wall and how easily they do it. If the cells in the gut's walls lose their "tight junctions," then the gut becomes more permeable and allows more bacteria and toxins to pass from your gut into your bloodstream. The measure of your gut's permeability will help you understand your risk for "leaky gut" based on the microorganisms present in your gut that can cause dysbiosis, or structural damage to the GI lining, or changes in regulation and signaling mechanisms. The test analyzes the balance of the good, bad, and conditional bacteria levels present in your gut and their research-backed associations to health, wellness, and disease conditions. Your sample is screened for the bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can cause adverse GI symptoms or disease conditions, and that's just the beginning. Danbar for Life has had great success utilizing Various testing methodologies to help people achieve better health. Because we know that many do not get the proper nutrition, the Micronutrient Test is our go-to as a first choice when considering health optimization. However, if you have, or do suffer from any kind of consistent stomach bloating, IBS, or other digestive discomfort, we recommend you consider all tests being offered on this site.
